the importance of art in our lives
“Research indicates that a child who is exposed to the arts acquires a special ability to think creatively,
be original, discover, innovate, and create intellectual property—
key attributes for individual success and social prosperity in the twenty-first century.”
International Child Art Foundation
artskiddoo is...
a studio space where students can explore different art media in class sizes small enough for plenty of individual attention (10 students or less). Each class has a different emphasis; learning about humanities, creating artwork for competitions, or simply exploration and development.
I have started artskiddoo to inspire our youth to create art and design, and to share information about art masters and graphic designers. My background includes an MFA in Graphic Design, decades of print design work, and the program launch—plus eight years of instruction—of the Meet the Masters art curriculum at Park Village Elementary.
